Operação de follow on envolve até 32 milhões de papéis
O Inter anunciou na noite desta terça-feira (16) que realizará uma oferta subsequente de ações com até 32 milhões de papéis. A oferta – chamada de follow on no mercado financeiro – envolve ações ordinárias e foi encaminhada à Comissão de Valores Mobiliários nos Estados Unidos, a SEC na sigla em inglês.
A operação tem, ainda, a possibilidade de um lote extra a ser ofertado com até 4,8 milhões de papéis.
A ação do Inter fechou a terça-feira a US$ 5 na Nasdaq, onde é listada em Nova York. Assim, a operação poderá levantar até US$ 184 milhões ou cerca de R$ 906 milhões pela cotação atual do dólar.
No comunicado ao mercado, o Inter diz que os recursos captados com a operação terão “fins corporativos gerais”. O documento menciona ainda que os acionistas do banco não terão qualquer direito de preferência ou prioridade nessa oferta.
Foram contratados os bancos Goldman Sachs e Bank of America como coordenadores da operação.
